Boasting a rich experience of 20 years in surgical practice, Dr. Kamble has conducted over 27,000 successful surgeries without any mortality or complications, underlining his exceptional surgical acumen and dedication to patient care.

Dr. Subodh Kamble completed his medical education at the renowned B J Medical College in Pune, graduating with first-class honors. He pursued his postgraduate training in General Surgery at the same institution, eventually earning his qualification as a General Surgeon from B J Medical College. His career began at Jahangir Hospital and Apollo Research Centre, where he served as an assistant professor before returning to B J Medical College to teach as an assistant professor in General Surgery and Urology.

With sponsorship from the British Council, UK, Dr. Kamble sought further training in the UK, leading to his eventual immigration to the country. Shortly after arriving, he obtained his MRCS qualification and became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, UK.

Dr. Kamble underwent extensive training in General Surgery and Urology within the National Health Service (NHS) at prestigious institutions, solidifying his career focus on Urology. The NHS is renowned as the world’s largest publicly funded health service, known for its efficiency, equality, and comprehensiveness. Additionally, he pursued a second MRCS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, UK.

Dr. Kamble ventured to Australia for training at the esteemed institution, The Alfred in Melbourne. Known as a top tertiary referral teaching hospital and the largest trauma center in the southern hemisphere, The Alfred provided him with valuable experience. Subsequently, he traveled to France to undergo training in Minimal Invasive Surgery, earning a postgraduate Diploma from the University of Strasbourg. His pursuit of knowledge led him to achieve an MCh in Urology from The Royal College of Surgeons and the University of Edinburgh in the UK.

With a keen interest in Robotics and minimal invasive surgery, Dr. Kamble pursued additional training in Urological Robotics and minimal invasive surgery at the University of Strasbourg, France, and earned a postgraduate Diploma. He further expanded his expertise by obtaining an MCh in Urological Robotics and minimal invasive surgery from Cambridge, UK.

Specializing in Brachytherapy, Dr. Kamble completed a one-year fellowship in Prostate Brachytherapy for prostate cancer in the UK. Under the guidance of Professor Stephen Langley, an internationally recognized expert in prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment, he honed his skills in prostate brachytherapy. Dr. Kamble further enhanced his proficiency by undertaking an additional one-year fellowship in 4D Brachytherapy for prostate cancer. He is currently the sole surgeon in India with expertise in 4D Brachytherapy, an innovative treatment for prostate cancer.

Dr. Kamble completed a two-year fellowship in Female Urology, Urological Upper Tract, and Pelvic Robotic Surgery during his time in the UK.

Recognizing the importance of teaching in clinical practice and the need for effective communication skills to inspire students, Dr. Kamble actively engages in teaching alongside his clinical duties. To further develop his teaching abilities, he obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Kamble provides regular guidance to postgraduate surgical students, staff, trainees, interns, and medical students.
